Mr. Bernal comes from a small town in the state of Michoacán, which is located in the central part of Mexico. At the age of eight he moved with his family to Tijuana then finally settling down in Mexicali, where he obtained a degree in architecture.
In the mid 90’s, while living in Los Angeles, he began his exploration in art, which came from a need to have an emotional outlet.
Out of those emotions came what we have here in front of us, a group of colorful, complicated, yet very simple works of art. These are the stories from the deepest parts of mind and body.
