The Los Angeles Conservancy hosts this walking tour of downtown Los Angeles, featuring the Art Deco architecture prominent in the structures errected in the 1920s and 1930s. The discussion will cover the history of the movement, materials used and the stylistic details that are associated with this type of architecture. A number of buildings will be viewed, and in certain cases the interiors will also be included.
