Featured at this year’s event will be special celebrity guest, actress-comedienne Debra Wilson of Fox’s long-running MADtv sketch comedy show, and “Dancing with the Dogs” (www.flff.org) - teams of dogs and their people that dance together in synchronized choreography.

Presented by the Friends of Hermon Dog Park, a non-profit dog park support group based in Northeast L.A., this special pet adoption festival will include substantial discounts on adoption fees (which include spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, and microchip).  The first 25 adoptions will receive an additional $25 off the already discounted cost of:

$83.50 per dog and $50.50 per cat (maximum).

The children will also enjoy a moonbounce and free henna/face painting.  Come and win door prizes  and visit more than 25 pet-related vendors and animal welfare groups.

BONUS:  Bring in your other pets for inexpensive $25 microchipping, which someday could save their lives.

The North Central Shelter is easily accessible from the 110 Freeway/Arroyo Seco Parkway (off the Ave. 26 exit), or from the Gold Line's Lincoln Heights/Cypress Park Station.

This event is co-sponsored by the Arroyo Seco Neighborhood Council, Atwater Village Neighborhood Council, City Councilmember José Huizar, Council President Eric Garcetti, and L.A. City Animal Services.
