Who is hanging NELA's teddy bears?
Highland Park Patch Twitter follower @MissMendoza79 has noticed bears dangling from power lines throughout the area, and tweeted us the above photo of a swinging bear located at Eagle Rock and Verdugo Boulevards.
"this lil guy was hanging on a wire on the corner of Eagle Rock Blvd and Verdugo (Public Storage corner). Poor lil guy :(," @MissMendoza79 tweeted on Friday.
@MissMendoza79 added: "sightings seen on Colorado Blvd. York & ER Blvd. Baltimore & Ave 50..."
Are the hanging bears the work of a local artist attempting to make some sort of statement? Or is there something more sinister afoot?
