Where in South Pas is Patch? (Photos)

Can you guess where we're at in these local pics?

Answers to the last feature:

Photo No. 1: Mission at Meridian showing on the right, and the Myers house used in the movie Haloween (1978). It was originally at 707 Meridian, and now is at 1000 Mission.

Photo No. 2: Rooster at

Photo No. 3: Stairs leading to second floor of where City Clerk Sally's office is.

Looks like South Stampadena still exists as an online business. Check this out: http://members.tripod.com/south_stampadena/table_of_contents.html Looks like it's owned by Edgar Castle, who apparently owned Castle's Photography, which was in that building for a time and then ultimately moved to Fair Oaks before closing. I think it may also have been on Mission for a time in between. When I moved here in 1981, there was another photography store on Mission. I think there may have been two photography stores on Mission until Castle moved to Fair Oaks.

Yes... Bob's Photo and Castle's Photography were both on the north side of Mission until Bob's Photo closed (Bob Worswick retired). Castle's stayed on Mission for awhile and then moved... Love these "blasts from the past"!
