Want to Lend a Hand? Saturay is NELA's Day of Service

Saturday's event will offer volunteer opportunities across the neighborhood.

Spring which has sprung, which means it's time for residents to get out and start cleaning up. 

NELA's Day of Service will be held on Saturday, April 6 from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m., commencing at the Southwest Museum of the American Indian.

Throughout the last month, the Day of Service Committee has been collecting  community members' submissions for neighborhood volunteer projects. Saturday, the entire community is invited to play a part in executing those ideas.

Who: The NELA Day of Service is sponsored by Council District 1, the Historic Highland Park Neighborhood Council, the Kiwanis Club, the Los Angeles Conservation Corp and the Office of Community Beautification.
