Photo Gallery: International Children's Day Celebrated In Highland Park

Saturday's festivities included raffles, games, music and a host of activities for children.

Families from across Northeast Los Angeles celebrated International Children's Day on Saturday, April 30 at the on York Boulevard.

The festival was organized by the Northeast Business Association, the Yorkdale Neighborhood Leadership Group and the National Children's Study.

Local businesses and organizations participating in the event included , LAFD Fire Station 12, L.A. Police Historical Society, and the South Pasadena Masonic Lodge 290.

Highland Park residents also had the opportunity to sign up to participate in the Los Angeles & Ventura Study Center's National Children's Study, which will look into how a host of environmental factors impact the childhood development.
