This week's viewfinder captures some sights along N. Figueroa St. between Ave. 56 and 57.
An afternoon stroll through Highland Land Park's side streets reveals some of the neighborhood's hidden visual treasures.
On Saturday, April 30, our viewfinder focused in on the Avenues that stem from North Figueroa St. between and . On both sides of the street, we found pedestrians taking refuge from the Spring heat, either through shade, fresh fruit or a water gun fight.
It was a sleepy Saturday afternoon, to be sure, but images on display around the small stretch of neighborhood still told many stories.
