Patch Picks: Librarian's Choice

The National Education Association celebrated Read Across America Day on Tuesday March 2.

Though Read Across America is a year-long initiative of the National Education Association, Read Across America Day marks a special birthday celebration for Theodor Seuss Geisel, commonly known as Dr. Seuss. 

Across the country, thousands of schools and libraries participate in Read Across America Day by setting aside time for quiet reading or organizing public reading events.

In honor of Read Across America Day, here's five great young adult reading selections, as recommended by the Arroyo Seco Library.
