Monterey Hills Jazz Fest Returns on Saturday

The 16th annual jazz fest is free and open to the public.

Monterey Hills--the sleepy bedroom community that rests high above Hermon--is not as deeply steeped in history as some of its Northeast L.A. neighbors. However, it does have one enduring cultural tradition, the Monterey Hills Jazz Fest, and it returns for the entire community to enjoy this weekend.

The 16th annual Monterey Hills Jazz Fest will be held on Saturday, Oct. 15 from 10:30-6:30 p.m at Bud Wiener Park, located the intersection of Via Arbolada and Via Marisol.

This year's acts include BluesMen, City Beat, the Ron McCurdy Collective and headliners the Susie Hansen Latin Band.
