Comments of the Week: A Tip on Where to Get a Feral Cat Spay or Neutered for Free

Check out the best, funniest, strangest and most informative things our readers have to say.

We take pride in our work here at Patch and always strive to bring our readers interesting news. However, we must admit, sometimes the most interesting part of a great Patch story is the comments from readers that it sparks.

Here are some of the best, funniest, strangest and most informative comments from Patch stories around the Northeast L.A. and Hollywood Patch sites this past week:

Photo: Skunk Crashes Cat Dinner Party in Mt. Washington

It's not breaking news but the image of two cats on the street allowing a skunk to eat their food drew a small discussion on Highland Park - Mount Washington Patch this week. What I found interesting is that reader dali_dali shared a service that his company provides for free to spay homeless or feral cats.

dali_dali August 01, 2013 at 04:43 PM Hi - I am a resident of HP/Mt. Washington and also the Community Engagement Manager at FixNation. Do you know if any of the cats have been fixed? They will keep reproducing if someone does not take responsibility to get them fixed. We provide spay/neuter for all homeless/feral cats for FREE. More on our program and who we are - http://fixnation.org/about-tnr/feral-cat-programs/ Let me know how I can help!

Street art in Silver Lake

Reader chuk posted a piece of street art that was briefly on a wall at the boarded up motel on Bates & Sunset. Check out his photo to see what it was.
