2. Mt. Washington Local Issues Committee meeting
The Mount Washington Local Issues Committee of the Arroyo Seco Neighborhood Council is scheduled to meet today, Thursday, Dec. 12, starting at 6:30 p.m. in the library of Mount Washington Elementary School. The Kiwanis Club of Highland Park is scheduled to hold its weekly board meeting today, Thursday, Dec. 12. The Kiwanis will meet as usual at Milo Terrace Baptist Church Community Room, 754 N. Avenue 50, from noon to 1:30 p.m. The meeting is free; lunch is $5 at the door. As always, attendees are encouraged to bring their ideas for a better Highland Park.
