Do you have an unwrapped toy sitting around for a child to play with? Bring it to the Highland Park Recreation Center, where kids from low-income families will be getting toys on Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. while they have breakfast with Santa, get their faces painted and enjoy a variety of arts and crafts. Students from Franklin High School have been collecting toys for this event for weeks, and they will be bringing them to the rec center at 5 p.m. on Friday.
