Miniature Books Exhibition, Last Day For Zumba

Your guide to the weekend.

1. Miniature books exhibition

The Mary Norton Clapp Library at Occidental College is holding an all-day exhibition today, Friday, Dec. 20, about miniature books. Titled "Miniature Books: Then and Now," the exhibition offers a glimpse of what books small enough to slip into a pocket were like back in the 15th century, when an assistant to Gutenberg created the first such known book. Oxy's library is located toward the east of the quad at 1600 Campus Rd. Click here for further details. Call (323) 259-2640 if you have any questions.

2. Zumba at the Rec Center

Today, Friday, Dec. 20, is the last day that Zumba classes for all fitness levels will be offered at the Highland Park Recreation Center from 6:15 to 7:15 p.m. The Rec Center is located at 6150 Piedmont Ave. Call (213) 847-4876 with any questions.
