1. LACMA art class for kids and families

Get your kids a free haircut—and don't miss the chance to get the entire family free dental check-ups, diabetes diagnoses, immunizations and health screenings for women. Your 51st District rep in the California Assembly, Jimmy Gomez, is helping organize a "Fresh Start Health Fair" for Northeast L.A. residents on Saturday, Aug. 17, at Dodger Stadium, from 12 noon to 5 p.m. Got no health issues—and already took the kids to the barber before Back to School week?
