1. Affordable Care Act information table
The Arroyo Seco Regional Branch Library that serves the Highland Park community is scheduled to host an information table about the Affordable Care Act today, Friday, Nov. 22, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. The public is welcome to attend and ask any questions about the act. The library is located at 6145 N. Figueroa St., on the corner of Piedmont.

Mark your calendars: The Garvanza Improvement Association invites the public to an open house tour that showcases the yearlong renovation of a historic property that was built in 1886 and once belonged to Dr. Smith, the association's original founder.
