And, what is the name of the insurance agent? And license number that is required by theRead MoreDepartment of Insurance?

Pets? Did you say pets? I prefer the term companion. As such, comfort animals, especially forRead Morevetera ns should certainly get credits for the care of their companion animals. And seniors certainly too. This is properly done at the County level.

Too many animals go to the shelter because landlords will not allow them. One way around that isRead Moret o require renters to get renters insurance. Most companies cover liability that includes dog bites. If landlords knew about this hopefully they would allow pet companions. No more animals in shelters! Just require renters with animal companions to have renters insurance. It's cheap and keeps animals out of shelters. Hope the Highland Park NC and other neighborhood councils can write letters to their city councilmembers explaining how important this is to educate landlords to help keep pets out of animal shelters. When is the next Nc meeting? Date and time? And who to contact to put an item on the agenda??

It is not a bell issue. It is a change in law issue. It is about fairness and justice under theRead Morel aw. The law should not give "special" rights to some groups and not others. I should have the same rights as anyone that attends any religious group. Right now I don't. There needs to be justice and fairness for all. There needs to be equal justice under the law.

No forced religion. No church noise unless I can force my noise into their home too.
nonoise April 11, 2014 at 06:59 PM

Nonoise, you should hide and be quiet, pendeja.
nonoise April 03, 2014 at 05:31 PM

I will ask my good friend Dr. Moore if he can make this available. I will see him at the KiwannisRead MoreMe eting. Thanks for asking nonoise. All my best in your on going neighborhood dispute with Divine Savior. I wish there was something that could be done. In AZ a citizen such as yourself won a judgment. But this is L.A., I am afraid. have to make the best of things as they are. Not as we wish them to be... sometimes

CBinHP is a candidate for director at large in HHPNC, nonoise. I will refrain from mentioning hisRead Morena me. My campaign is suspended for Good Friday Observance. But this individual in my admittedly biased opinion is not very nice or honest at all. He is extremely self center and grandiose. He pretends he is running for re-election but the truth is he has never been elected by the voters. He calls himself an elected public official, but he was appointed because of patronage and nepotism. He claims to have ties all over Los Angeles, his family history going back a hundred years and more. He also says he loves Highland park so much, especially since he's "made more friends in the 60 months he's called H.P. home than he has in his entire life! What's wrong with that picture? The truth is he recently had his house on the market, and no one would buy. Terrible location one is to assume, I suppose. So please don't let the likes of him rattle your chain. People of such low ethics aren't to be expected to be honest or sincere. As an ordained Universal Life Chaplin I am tasked to minister the love of God to all, regards of any religion or creed, etc. I minister to those who are theist, deist, Muslim, Jew, Christian, Hindu, Buddhist, Pagan, Atheist, Humanist, or whatever, equally. As we all should do good, and respect that we are all here together, trying to live comfortably. I can not imagine the children at Divine Savior whispering out of respect "for the lady next door." It is easy however for me to visualize children at the church laughing and joking at the lady who is perturbed by the excessive and frequent winging of bells. (CBinHP would not tolerate the same conditions for himself, trust me.) It is sad that catholic children are taught those lessons these days. I taught catechism at St. Ignatius. Lent is for solemn reflection, not partying. ESPECIALLY ON GOOD FRIDAY! It is not to party and buy and sell. But for prayer and tears fort he wounds are dear savior suffered, for our sakes. Not for something he was guilty of! We should all be kind and neighborly and compassionate because no one is better than anyone else. We are equally sinners, in need of God's grace, as far as that's concerned. The approach is of course of one mediating a mitigating solution. But as long as Fr. Marco feels he has no pressing need to be neighborly, or concerned about the lady next door, then peace is indeed impossible between the parties. it is sad to contemplate that the offending party is a catholic parish. But as any student of history knows that is a minor offense compared to the others far more worse! Also, for the hungry, if you knock on the parish door at Divine Savior the lady will tell you they do not have anything. And if you knock on the convent door, a very rude, grey hared man will answer and inform you likewise. What? No food for the poor?
