Two Men Shot Saturday Morning

A dispute from Friday evening apparently led to two men getting shot at the intersection of South Avenue 60 and Arroyo and hospitalized, according to the LAPD.

A pair of suspected gang members shot two men early Saturday morning, according to the Los Angeles Police Department's Northeast Station.

The shooting took place at 2:50 a.m. at the intersection South Avenue 60 and Arroyo Drive, near Highland Park, said Sgt. Teresa Anderson of the Northeast Station, who added that the incident may have been sparked by a dispute earlier Friday evening.

Los Angeles police Sgt. Wayne Guillary, watch commander at the Northeast Station, told City News Service earlier that it appeared rival gang members were chasing other gang members and shot two males.
