One Person Hospitalized in Accident at Figueroa and 52

Officials have been tight-lipped regarding the accident.

Los Angeles Fire Department Spokeswoman Katherine Main confirmed on Monday that one person was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle in the intersection of Avenue 52 and North Figueroa Street on Sunday afternoon.

According to a sparse incident reported provided by Main, the person was taken to Huntington Memorial Hospital at 1:07 p.m. to be treated for injuries.

Officials from both Los Angeles Fire Department Station 12 and LAPD's Central Traffic Division refused to provide more details on the incident, so it is unclear if any arrests were made or if the injuries sustained by the pedestrian were life threatening.
