UPDATED: Gang Shooting in Cypress Park Leaves Three in Critical Condition

The shooting occurred Friday night, according to the LAPD.

One man is in critical condition and two others are in serious condition Saturday morning after several men shot them in Cypress Park Friday night in what LAPD investigators are now calling a gang-related incident.

The three victims were sitting on a curb on the 3800 block of Glenalbyn Drive in Cypress Park when several men emerged from a dark SUV with tinted windows, said Sgt. Sanford Rosenberg of the LAPD's Northeast Division.

"They actually got out of the car," he said. "Then they asked them the infamous, 'Where you from?', they weren't satisfied ... they took property from the victims and shot them."
