Neighborhood Watch Organizes Monthly Alley Cleanup

After organizing a successful neighborhood cleanup last month, , Highland Park resident Peter Bedard has decided to to making beautifying his stretch of Marmion Way a monthly affair.

Bedard said his local neighborhood watch group will meet at 10 a.m. on Saturday in the alley between Aves 55 and 56 on Marmion Way.

Last month, Bedard and members of the area's neighborhood watch painted out graffiti, picked up litter and trimmed branches before gathering for a small barbecue.

"We decided to do this monthly and it's just a little group but I think it's cool we're continuing," Bedard said.
